ICTAF – MIART online
For our collaboration with ICTAF and MIART online, First Floor Gallery Harare is presenting brand new works from familiar and new names in our programme, who speak to the diversity of voices and approaches to practice in Zimbabwean contemporary art. Amanda Mushate is a leading young abstractionist, who has already won an international following with her exuberant canvases is presenting four brand new canvases since her sell out solo exhibition in Harare, earlier this year. Wycliffe Mundopa is presenting brand new smaller size canvases – a rare treat amid the painter’s normally monumental oeuvre. We are also sharing four paintings from Gresham Tapiwa Nyade’s new body of work Grey Spaces, part of his new solo exhibition with the gallery. Finally we are thrilled to introduce to our programme Zacharaha Magasa, with exciting new colour-based sculptural work, ahead of his first solo exhibition with us in Harare later this year.
